According to the folks at Playstatic, the Playstation 3 may be getting some exclusive content in the next rendition of GTA. Fortunately for many of us, exclusive content does not mean an exclusive release. In fact rumor has it that GTA IV will be released on the Xbox 360 at the same time as the PS3. Let the Console Wars Begin! - 11.19.2006 10:11 PM PSTToday marks an important day in Console history. For the first time ever, all three of the 2006 consoles are available for sale. The Nintendo Wii (formerly the revolution) was released last night and the Playstation 3 (PS3) was released two nights ago. The Xbox 360 got a healthy head-start when it was released earlier this spring. All this competition means there is a console for everyone this holiday season, and there are bound to be some good deals on games and consoles in the coming weeks. High-Definition Games are Here to Stay - 11.14.2006

2006 is the year of high definition. For the first time since the dawn of video gaming, gamers will finally have the opportunity to play their games in high definition. This was made painfully clear this year at the Tokyo Game Show as Microsoft showed off 110 high definition games. This, combined with lowering HDTV prices and the Xbox 360 HD-DVD player on the horizon is going to make it an interesting holiday season. Keep yours eyes out for sales this year, because I have a feeling there will be lots.

Gears of War Release Date Confirmed - 10.29.2006

I know a lot of you have been waiting a long time for this game, well its finally here. According to a developers blog entry, Gears of War for the Xbox 360 will begin shipping on the 7th and stores will begin receiving it on November 8th. Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, one of the most popular games available for the Xbox360, has recently been re-rated by the ESRB. The original rating of "teen" has been replaced by a rating of "mature" due to explicit material hidden on the CD. Much like San Andreas\'s Hot Coffee Mod, this material was unlockable.
Battlefield 2 on Xbox Live - 04.18.2006

For those of you that haven't gotten the memo, Battlefield 2 is now available for the Xbox 360. This is the first time the Battlefield series has been available on the new Xbox console. Downloadable Quest for Oblivion - 04.18.2006

Done with Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion already? No worries. Extra content, in the form of a new quest, has been released for anyone with Xbox Live. The download costs 150 Microsoft Points, which comes to a grand total of just under two dollars. It includes new dialog, journals, powers, and access to an exclusive part of the game. More updates are planned for the future.
MLB 2K6 Xbox 360 Glitches - 04.13.2006

Xbox 360 owners who have recently purchased MLB 2K6 may be in for a surprise when the game feezes. Apparently a bug in the game, which applies only to Xbox 360 owners with a hard drive, causes the game to freeze at certain points. Although the publishers have promised a fix soon, it seems like console games should not need patches or fixes. Lets hope this isn't the new trend.
Take-Two Ships 1.7 Million Copies of Oblivion - 04.11.2006

Market statistics show that Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion was the fastest selling game in multiple markets during the month of March. Sofar, it projected to be the fastest selling game ever for the Xbox360, and dominated the PC market last month. Turns out this Morrowind sequel was well worth the wait. I'm sure by now all of you have at least heard about Oblivion. The good news is, its getting great reviews. If you haven't bought it for your PC or your Xbox 360 yet, you better head to a store and check it out. And when you do, be sure to check out our cheats for the game. GTA MMO on the Horizon? - 04.08.2006

For the last few releases of the Grand Theft Auto series there's been a lot of speculation about multiplayer capabilities. Grand Theft Auto, San Andreas was the first game in the series to support local multiplayer, but to date there has been no online Grand Theft Auto. Rumors have surfaced in the gaming industry that Rockstar Games may be working on an online version of Grand Theft Auto. These rumors can be attributed to a recent job openeing with the company for experienced network programmers.
